14 – 17 December 2021, the EU4IBM project, implemented by the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD), conducted a training for the representatives of the Internal Audit Department of the State Customs Service of Ukraine within the Institute of Internal Auditors of Ukraine.

7 representatives of the recently staffed respective Department of the State Customs Service had the opportunity to get acquainted with a wide range of topics and practices related to the implementation of international standards of internal audit, risk-oriented planning and direct internal audit. The training was the first event among a series of planned trainings under the capacity-building program developed by international and national experts.

Further trainings will focus on the implementation of European experience and practices, as well as the intensification of trainings, taking into account the needs and specifics of operation of the internal audit in the State Customs Service of Ukraine.
